While working for the Centre for Research on Work and Society (CRWS) at York University, I designed, edited and wrote for the CRWS News, the official monthly newsletter of the research institute.
I used Quark Express and Adobe Photoshop to make the newsletter both attractive and readable. The articles covered a variety of issues, including workers’ rights, gender equality, environmental protection, and democracy, and I ensured that the use of photos and pull quotes reflected the progressive, forward-thinking viewpoints of the writers.
