The York University Staff Association wanted a May Day poster to celebrate International Workers’ Day. The union was organizing an event on campus, and they asked for a design that was positive and youthful.
Most May Day design includes the colour red, but I wanted to include more colours to represent the diverse, progressive elements throughout the world that celebrate the event in the name of democracy, social justice and equality.
