The Centre for Research on Work and Society, a research institute at York University, commissioned me to design a poster for a conference in Toronto on the issue of human and workers’ rights.
I choose a beautiful black and white photo of a factory worker against a stark, black background, along with the conference title at the top and contact information at the bottom. For the text, I chose white and red, as it contrasted well against the dark background and the brightness of the worker’s face.
